Brass two-tiered, twelve light chandelier with turned baluster supporting two tiers, each with six scrolling candle arms. The large ball below the juncture of the arms and the drop ring are typical features of 18th century Dutch chandeliers. Early 20th century. Now electrified, polished and lacquered.
Fine Antique Japanese Kinrande Imari Porcelain Vase having a flared, scolloped rim, ribbed body and typical decoration with birds and blossoms. Circa 1870-1900. Now wired as a lamp with ribbed gilt wood base.

We always have a good selection of 19th (and sometimes 18th) Century Brass Candlesticks in both pairs and singles. Many of the 19th C. examples have their original "push-up" mechanisms intact. FinePair of Italian Grand Tour Bronze Candlesticks with nicely detailed foliate decoration and with good patina and fine castings. Having a removable ormolu drip pan above a bronze candle cup and supported by a turned and foliate decorated column with a tripartite scrolling ormolu base and mounted on a tripartite bronze plinth. These would have been brought home as a souvenir by someone who had made the Grand Tour. Italy, circa 1870.
Fine Pair of Grand Tour Bronze and Ormolu Candlesticks in the Empire style with fluted baluster shaped shafts , with acanthus decoration on gilt-bronze sections and paw feet raised atop tripartite bases. These would have been brought home as a souvenir by someone who had made the Grand Tour.
