Neagoe was a painter of landscapes, nudes, and abstract polymorphic images. She was largely influenced by the art she saw in Paris during the 1920s and 1940s. While there, she was exposed to work at various annual salons and, in 1949, she viewed the abstract work on display at the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles.
