A painter and sculptor, Dabich settled in Wyoming after serving in the Navy during WWII. For more than twenty years, he worked as a trapper, guide and hunter. His preferred subjects are drawn from the history of Wyoming. His work is held in the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon, TX and the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, WY.

Dabich is listed in Encyclopedia of Artists of the American West by Samuels and Who Was Who in American Art by Falk.
