Rare small scale George III architect's (or reading) table in mahogany, having a hinged, two part adjustable top with detachable book rest above a pierced fretwork skirt and raised on straight moulded legs with pierced corner brackets and leather castors. English, circa 1760. Provenance: from the Estate of Ella Poe Burling, Washington, D.C.
