Town Map and Battle Map

by Isaac Basire (English, 1704-1768)

Engravings on paper, one inscribed: Plan of the City of Bouchain Situated Upon the Rivers Sensette and Scheld in the County of Hainault
the other inscribed: Plan of the Glorious Battle of Hochstet Gained by the Allies an August 13th, 1704.
Both published 1732.

Bouchain:Sight size: 14.5 “ x 18.25” , Frame size: 27.25” x 31.5”
Hochstet:Sight size:18.75 “ x 14.5” , Frame size: 31.5” x 27.25”
