Harry T. Fisk (American, 1887-1974)

Gouache on paper, signed.

A highly respected illustrator and painter, Fisk resided for much of his life in NYC. He was most active during the 1920s-1940 when his work was much in demand for illustrating “pulp magazines”.

In contrast to his more lurid endeavors, Fisk exhibited his traditional works of art at the prestigious Salmagundi Club and was a member of the Guild of Free Lance Artists.

Fisk is listed in Who Was Who in American Art by Falk.
