This wonderful carved oak panel originally hung behind the bar in "The Jockey Club" in Washington, DC, and depicts not only a fox hunt but numerous other vignettes typical of English country life of the late 18th and early 19th century. It was probably an overmantle - part of the wall paneling of a room.
