Large George III pierced and engraved brass firefender with iron supports, slightly serpentine form and with ornate open work design. Circa 1760-80. (Minor separations at the joins.)
Fine toleware shaped box with attached undertray, the lid surmounted by a brass acorn form finial and the whole decorated with gilt scrolling vines with red flowers (some loss to decoration) Provenance: Ruthann Coggins Bardes, Greenwich, CT.
Fine pair of American Federal ball topped andirons in brass with turned, vasiform shafts, spurred cabriole legs and slipper feet. (Iron log rests replaced). Boston, circa 1800. (see Shiffer, The Brass Book, pp. 57-58 for similar examples)
English Regency tole tea bin, cylindrical with faceted shoulder and with a green ground with a gilt stencil of a Chinaman holding a box of tea. Circa 1825-30. (Minor dents and losses, later lid.)
