Antique George II Style Footstool in mahogany, having a slip seat, carved apron, Chippendale cabriole legs with carved shells on the knees and with nicely defined ball and claw feet. Circa 1880. 26" x 19.75" x 20' tall
Antique American Mahogany Tilt-top Table, the single board round top supported on a pillar of tapering shaft, urn and rings; the legs with plain knees ending in simple pad feet; the lower edges of the pillar and knees attractively scalloped; the overall form typical of Massachusetts.
In the 18th Century, both here and in England, the centers of your public rooms were left empty when not in use (except for your "Turkey Rug")...
Fine Anglo-Indian glove box, rectangular with cut corners, each face and lid decorated with finely carved sandalwood panels, “Sadeli” work and ebony and ivory banding. (Warp to lid.) Bombay, 1870-1880.

Tunbridge Ware Trinket Box in rosewood having sides decorated in a band of Berlin woolwork floral pattern with a veneered lid and raised on bun feet.

Rare George III Ambry in mahogany having an hinged arched top opening to a well and a paneled cabinet door flanked py pilasters, and the whole raised on ball feet. In Christian churches, items kept in an ambry include chalices and other vessels, as well as items for the reserved sacrament, the consecrated elements from the Eucharist.
